Hello Rockets Families!

We have an exciting few weeks ahead as we wrap up another incredible Rockets season! Please take a moment to review these important reminders and upcoming events.

💯 $100 Club Party – Wednesday, July 1 | 6:00–7:30 PM

Congratulations to all of our swimmers who participated in this year's Swim-A-Thon!

Swimmers who raised $100 or more are invited to our $100 Club Party with the coaches on Wednesday, July 1 from 6:00–7:30 PM at the Rollingwood YMCA. Burgers, Dogs, and Nachos, chips, and drinks will be served!

These swimmers are in the CLUB: Miles Pickard, Rindes, Iannarelis, Mortons, Gibbs, Dequines, Springs, Austins, Stanton, Henry, Hudson Benedict, Miller, Dackins, Frank Nordin, Whitney Tobin Finleigh Duong, Malia Danielson, Zoe Dougherty, Wades, Jamiesons, Nolan Butler, Moskat, Gullahorn (apologies for anyone missed, we have two lists to verify, please come!)

There is still time to qualify! If you have outstanding donations, you may:

• Bring them to the party
• Venmo your donation (michelle-blanton-- or 916-284-9275)
• Turn in checks payable to YMCA of Superior California

Please note that practices will run as scheduled that day, with the exception that there are no afternoon practices after 6pm. (Morning practice for swimmers ages 9–18 will still be held)

❤️ Coach Appreciation Week – July 6–11

Our coaches pour countless hours into helping every Rocket become a stronger swimmer while creating a fun, encouraging team environment. Coach Appreciation Week is our opportunity to say THANK YOU!

Throughout the week we'll have fun daily appreciation themes and opportunities for families to celebrate our coaching staff. Let us know if you can help us decorate the swim room or prepare brunch for the coaches on the job-sign up.

📋 Booster Club Board Meeting – Wednesday, July 8 | 6:00 PM

All Rockets families are invited to attend our Booster Club Board Meeting on Wednesday, July 8 at 6:00 PM, upstairs at the Rollingwood YMCA.

As we begin planning for next season, we are looking for volunteers to help lead our team. We'd love to have new parents get involved and consider joining or shadowing a board position for the next season. We also have some event lead and planning roles we are looking for support with. 

Serving on the Board is a great way to support our swimmers, meet other families, and help shape the future of the Rockets! Whether you're interested in a Board position or just want to learn more about how our team operates, everyone is welcome to attend!

🏆 Championships Are Almost Here!

Our final dual meet is Saturday, July 11 at Amador. This is the last chance for Champs qualifying times. RSVP now for Amador, a team favorite!

🍝 Pasta Night

Friday, July 17 | 5:00–8:00 PM
Join your Rockets family for our annual Pasta Night as we carbo-load before the big weekend! Check the event calendar soon to sign-up and help us with making dinner.
