Registration Steps for both the Rockets and JR Rockets:

- Register @ www.rollingwoodrockets.com

- Make Payment @ YMCA DAXKO system

- League Registration @ NCSL (ALL Rockets Swimmers, JR Rockets only once formally a Rocket)

Practice Schedule

Jr. Rockets, Green, Yellow - choose 1 session to attend. You do not need to notify coaches if you will miss a practice. If you need to switch sessions, also no problem. We encourage all swimmers to attend practice as often as possible to see the most progress. However, we understand many swimmers participate in other activities, so a great goal is 2-3 practices each week.

Here are a few general practice reminders:

• Swimmers must check-in at the front desk of the Rollingwood YMCA
• Come prepared for practice with towel, bathing suit, cap, goggles, and water bottles
• Please consider purchasing a set of fins for your swimmer. The club has some, but the sizes are limited. After purchasing, please write your swimmer’s name on them with a pen or sharpie. Here is the recommended fin: FINIS Long Floating Fins for Swimming and Snorkeling by Amazon.com There is a size chart in the photos to ensure you are ordering the correct size.

Upcoming Events:

April 18th - Rockets Car Wash @ YMCA Healthy Kids Day Our team is hosting a Car Wash Fundraiser. Washing will begin at 10am and run through 2pm. Please choose a volunteer session if you are available to attend.

April 28th - ***MANDATORY *** New & Returning Parent Information Session Please have at least 1 parent attend practice on Tuesday, April 28th. Parents will go upstairs during practice for an overview of the season, review of the various volunteer roles, and answer any questions that you may have.

May 9th - Rockets Time Trials Start of season time trials to be held at the Rollingwood pool. This is our first timed swim event, essentially a 'practice meet'. Swimmers will swim in each stroke coaches are confident they are ready to swim and get stroke times for future meets. Parents will also get a chance to try out new volunteer positions.

Sponsorships! We are looking for business sponsorships for the 2026 season. If you know of any businesses interested, please share the attached sponsorship letter. We offer several options to support our Rocket Swim community!

We can’t wait to see all our Rockets—new and returning—back on the pool deck. Get ready for another season full of improvement, friendship, competition, and fun.
